1. Using DoorStepQR
DoorStepQR provides static QR codes, editable dynamic QR codes, and hosted mobile business pages for lawful business and personal use. By creating an account or generating a code, you agree to these terms.
2. Our promise: printed codes keep working
Static QR codes generated with our free tool encode your destination directly in the image and work forever.
Dynamic QR codes and published business pages created during your 14-day free trial or a paid Pro subscription continue redirecting to their last saved destination and stay live even if your trial expires or you cancel your subscription. Only editing and creating new codes are locked until you renew.
There are only two exceptions where a dynamic code stops working: (1) you explicitly delete the code or delete your entire account, or (2) we disable the code for violating section 4 (fraud, phishing, or illegal content).
3. Plans, trials, and billing
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Paid Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($9/month) or yearly ($90/year) via Stripe, with optional extra business locations at $5/month each. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal.
4. Acceptable use and takedowns
You may not use DoorStepQR for phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, payment scams, impersonation, spam, or any unlawful activity. We check destination URLs against safety blocklists and investigate reports submitted at doorstepqr.com/report. We reserve the right to immediately disable any code or page used for abuse without refund.
5. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account at any time in Dashboard → Settings. Deleting your account permanently disables your dynamic QR codes and deletes your hosted business pages and uploaded files.
6. Limitation of liability
DoorStepQR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Always test your QR codes with a real phone camera before printing large batches. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
